About Inn at English Harbour
The Inn sits on a beautiful bay overlooking English Harbour – the most historic and fascinating part of the island of Antigua. Just 28 rooms in 19 acres of beachside land means that privacy and tranquility are the keynotes of the Inn. There are so many little nooks in which to relax in privacy or you can enjoy the delights of the small but beautiful beach. The large and well-equipped rooms are constructed in colonial style and they provide real comfort and luxury.
The traditional Stone Bar and Terrace Restaurant in the original house provide a lovely setting for an ‘al fresco’ candlelit dinner beneath the stars. The food and wines are of excellent quality with an intriguing Italian/Caribbean style – the service is supreb. The Reef Bar and Restaurant by the small pier serves drinks and food in a casual friendly style during the whole day.
Guests can relax in the bay or enjoy a range of watersports in and beyond the harbour – or take a shuttle boat to Nelson’s Dockyard and Falmouth Harbour. This is a wonderful part of Antigua with a huge variety of things to see and do. An array of history from the days of Lord Nelson, a range of delightful little places to eat and drink, plenty of fascinating shops and a lively marina with everything from classic yachts to super-yachts. There is also the attraction of Pigeon Beach with acres of golden sand and the iconic Catherine’s café.
