About Curtain Bluff
Curtain Bluff is a remarkable hotel on the southern tip of Antigua. It occupies a dramatic headland position on the bluff which separates Grace Bay from Morris Bay – two perfect beaches. With 70 suites all facing the blue ocean, Curtain Bluff provides the ultimate in comfort, luxury and service to its guests, as well as a huge range of services and activities. It is an all-inclusive hotel and this includes all watersports including tennis, scuba diving, water-skiing and sailing.
The food at Curtain Bluff is absolutely outstanding. Breakfast is served in the lovely Tamarind Restaurant and lunch is the most amazing buffet served at the waters edge in the Seagrape bear bar. Dinner can be taken in the Tamarind or Seagrape – the latter being a more casual affair. If you are still hungry there is afternoon tea on the Sugar Mill terrace overlooking the gardens and hors d’oveuvres at cocktail hour in the Sugar Mill Bar.
Howard and Chelle Hulford, the resort’s founders, started the Old Road Fund in 1974, naming it after the village that sits by the side of the hotel. The majority of of the staff at Curtain Bluff are from this village and to date over £1 million has been donated by the hotel and its guests to provide everything from welfare assistance, medical treatment, university scholarship assistance and sports development for local people. A truly remarkable charitable institution.
We think this really is a world-class hotel in everyway, with a wonderful team of dedicated staff to ensure that guests have a wonderful stay in this beautiful location.
